GLP-1 & obesity peptides: the complete class guide

This page groups every compound being developed or used for weight loss through the incretin and amylin hormone systems, whether it is a true GLP-1 receptor agonist, a dual or triple agonist, or an amylin analog with no GLP-1 activity at all. Some are FDA-approved; most are still in clinical trials. Each entry links to its own full write-up with dosage data, evidence tiers, and sources.

Why amylin analogs are grouped here too: Cagrilintide, petrelintide, and eloralintide do not touch the GLP-1 receptor at all — they work on the amylin receptor instead. They are included because they compete for the same clinical purpose (chronic weight management) and are frequently paired with or compared against true GLP-1 drugs in trials and in the research community. “GLP-1 class” is used loosely here the way it is used in practice: shorthand for the whole incretin-and-amylin obesity drug category, not a strict chemistry label.
